FaceCard Africa 2026 — Terms & Conditions

1. Account & participation: Creating an account does not by itself make you a contestant. Your contestant registration becomes active only after the required application process and payment have been completed and confirmed. Your FCA number is assigned only after successful payment confirmation.

2. Age confirmation: By participating, you confirm that the personal information and age you provide are accurate. Participants must meet the age requirement stated in the official FaceCard Africa 2026 competition rules. Where a participant is under the permitted age, parent or legal guardian consent must be provided where required.

3. Photo ownership & usage: You confirm that you have the right to submit the photograph you provide and that your submission does not knowingly infringe another person's copyright or rights. You retain ownership of your photograph. By submitting it, you give Africa.PR and FaceCard Africa permission to display and use the submitted image for the competition, participant gallery, voting, results, publicity, social media, recognition, archives and related project documentation.

4. Publicity & recognition: If selected as a finalist or winner, your name, submitted photograph, placement and relevant participant information may be publicly featured by Africa.PR and FaceCard Africa in connection with the competition. This may include the website, social media and promotional materials.

5. Certificates: Every eligible participant who completes the required FaceCard Africa participation process will receive a participation certificate. Certificates may be provided digitally and may also be made available in a printable format. Certificate eligibility is subject to the official competition rules and successful completion of participation requirements.

6. Awards & top three: The competition will recognise the Top 3 participants as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The Top 3 will receive an award and a certificate in recognition of their placement. Any additional rewards, opportunities or benefits attached to a placement will be communicated through the official 2026 competition announcement and rules.

7. Winning or losing: Participation does not guarantee finalist status, votes, ranking, an award or any additional opportunity. Judging and final results will be determined according to the official competition rules and judging process.

8. Voting: Where public voting forms part of the competition, votes must be genuine and obtained through permitted methods. Attempts to manipulate, automate, purchase, falsify or otherwise abuse the voting system may result in votes being removed, a participant being disqualified or other appropriate action.

9. Accuracy of information: You are responsible for providing accurate and current information. You must keep your account credentials and FCA number secure and must not allow another person to use your account.

10. Fees: The official 2026 entry/application fee and applicable refund policy will be clearly stated before payment. Unless the published payment policy states otherwise, completed payments are not automatically refundable.

11. Disqualification: Africa.PR may reject or disqualify an entry that contains false information, violates the competition rules, infringes rights, contains prohibited material, involves fraudulent activity or attempts to manipulate the competition.

12. Changes: Africa.PR may make reasonable changes to dates, schedules, judging arrangements, rewards or operational details where necessary. Material changes will be communicated through official channels.

13. Acceptance: By checking the agreement box, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions and agree to participate under the official FaceCard Africa 2026 rules.
